Czarnowski is one of the four studios of the Czarnowski Collective. It combines operations, strategy, design, and fabrication to create exhibits and events that engage communities, generate brand enthusiasm, and educate consumers. It’s been over 75 years since we opened our doors, but we’re still not resting on our reputation or accolades. The Purpose:
The Creative Director shapes immersive brand experiences by aligning creative concepts with strategic goals. They transform audience insights into compelling narratives and lead the development of memorable, interactive elements that resonate with target audiences. Through collaboration and data-driven refinement, they ensure that each experience is impactful, on-brand, and strategically effective.
The Job:
Strategic Visioning and Brand Alignment: Translate brand goals, values, and messaging into immersive experiences. They develop concepts that resonate emotionally with target audiences, ensuring every touchpoint aligns with the brand's identity and vision.
Audience Insights and Storytelling: Conduct audience research, market trends, and cultural insights to craft compelling narratives. Understanding the audience’s behaviors, needs, and aspirations to build connections through experiences that are meaningful and memorable.
Concept Development and Ideation: From the initial brainstorming to the final concept, lead the ideation process. Conceptualize unique, interactive elements that can differentiate the brand, utilizing visuals, digital touchpoints, and physical spaces to drive engagement.
Collaboration Across Disciplines: Work closely with designers, project managers, and marketing teams, to guide the execution of ideas, ensuring the final output reflects the strategic and creative vision while meeting technical, logistical, and financial constraints.
Measurement and Optimization: Post-experience, assess success metrics to measure impact. This includes gathering feedback, analyzing engagement, and refining strategies for future projects, ensuring each activation is more effective than the last.
The Person:
10+ years of industry experience
Ability to understand a brand at its core and then translate it into other experiential mediums
Exceptional design aesthetics and ability to constantly adapt to meet a breadth of brand styles and mediums
Exceptional communication, organization, and presentation skills, both internal and external
High performance/high productivity mentality
User Experience (UX) Design
Understanding of photography and image manipulation techniques
Knowledge in software’s such as but not limited to:
Adobe Creative Cloud: Proficiency in Adobe software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe XD.
Web Design and Development Tools: Understanding of web design and development tools and languages like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Prototyping Tools: Familiarity with prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to create interactive digital prototypes.
Ability to work collaboratively with a creative team
Organizational skills
Exceptional time management skills - ability to balance multiple projects at one time while ensuring quality and consistency.
3D knowledge is a plus
