Carpenter/Field Design Technician - $1000 sign-on bonus

The Field Design Technician is responsible for field measuring jobs, performing post drawing verifications, QC audits of completed installs and light service work. Additionally, the Technician is responsible for acting as the liaison between the Field and the Engineering team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and strong communication skills to ensure the successful execution of stair projects.
Essential Functions:
- Conducts site surveys to assess the space and gather measurements, considering any potential obstacles and structural considerations.
- Layout field measurements and preliminary drawing specifications in CAD.
- Verify final drawing measurements for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
- Regularly meet with customers and detail potential design options to meet customer expectations.
- Act as a liaison between the field and the engineering team.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma, with relevant coursework or vocational training in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years in Construction or Carpentry
- Clean MVR and ability to travel to various job sites.
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools is a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time position. Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions.
Travel:
- Travel throughout Coastal Carolina region is required for this position (up to 100%)
