Dentsu Creative is seeking an
Associate Design Director
to join our creative team, working on branding, design and art direction for integrated 360 campaign creative across all channels for our newest AOR win, a
large telecom client . You will do a mix of hands-on design work and setting the visual tone and language for a variety of campaign creative including
storyboards for video, OOH, paid social and print.
You will report to the Group Design Director and work with them daily. You have a background in branding and visual design and have 5+ years of experience in an agency environment.
Role Overview:
As an Associate Design Director specializing in brand identity for our telecommunication client, you will play a key role with Creative Directors and Strategy leads to elevate the design standards of our agency's output. Your primary objective is to present distinctive ideas and designs to our clients, ensuring the creative strategic development and overall concept development of our client's brand.
Responsibilities:
Design Ownership and Quality Assurance: Ensure that all design work across multiple media platforms is completed to the highest standard. Uphold and elevate the agency's design standards through creative excellence. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide oversight for junior to mid-level designers across diverse projects, including presentations, digital assets, and brand elements. Inspire creativity within the team and direct them towards maintaining high levels of creative excellence. Project Conceptualization and Development:
Develop design ideas, conceptualize projects, and guide them through the entire lifecycle, from initial concept to completion. Revise and edit designs, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals. Client Relations:
Establish and nurture trust with clients by presenting concepts, receiving and interpreting feedback. Qualifications and Skills:
6+ years of experience in hands on design and art direction Bachelor's Degree in advertising, design or related field Chicago, IL or Los Angeles, CA location for onsite w Experience with brand identity Portfolio showcasing successful brand identity projects. Leadership experience guiding a team of designers. Knowledge of design trends, tools, and technologies. Experience in an agency setting
The anticipated salary range for this position is $94,000-$152,375 per year. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law A range of medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and/or other benefits also are available.
