Job Title: Sr. User Experience Design Analyst 
Location: Durham, NC- 27707

Time Zone: EST/CST

Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire

 Pay Range is $58-$60/hr.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements and create user-centered design solutions.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design ideas and user flows.
• Participate in user research and usability testing to identify user needs and pain points.
• Create visually compelling and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand and accessibility guidelines.
• Ensure consistency across all touchpoints within the customer journey.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into your design process.
• Share best practices and foster a culture of design excellence through critiques, pair design, and mentorship.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of UX design experience, focused on digital products.
• Proficiency in visual design and creating aesthetically pleasing interfaces.
• Experience in user research using tools such as Userzoom or similar.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate complex user needs into intuitive design solutions.
• Familiarity with design best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles.
• Proficiency in Figma, including auto layout, component enhancements, and working with design systems.

Preferred:

• Understanding of UX writing, content hierarchy, and adding placeholder content into designs (not lorem ipsum).
