Nike Graphic Design Director, Women's Lifestyle Apparel - Beaverton, Oregon We are seeking a visionary Graphics Design Director with a profound understanding of fashion, elevated craft, and high taste level. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As the Graphics Design Director, you will lead the charge in creating groundbreaking design directions that push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. You will be responsible for translating the visions of our partners and brand into impactful graphics and prints for both apparel and footwear that stand out on the world's biggest stages. Your work will involve driving collaborators' visions while aligning with brand objectives to create true newness by juxtaposing two perspectives.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
You will report to the Senior Design Director and partner closely with the Apparel & Footwear Directors, as well as cross-functional partners and external collaborators. Your role involves fostering a collaborative environment where diverse visions come to life. You will also mentor and grow the design team.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING?
Bachelor degree or higher in Graphic Design or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 8+ years of relevant design work experience or in a related field.
Experience with both print and digital media.
Strong illustration, typography, brand identity, and color theory skills.
Mastery of the creative process, guiding the team through all stages of design.
Mastery in presentation and communication skills.
Ability to lead product creation while leveraging 3D capabilities and video content.
Proficiency in digital design software (Creative Suite).
Deep understanding of make and manufacturing processes.
Profound knowledge of fashion and elevated craft.
Proven ability to inspire and lead creative teams under high-pressure environments.
Collaborative spirit with excellent soft skills and flexibility to manage multiple projects, work with external partners, and cross-functional teams efficiently.
