As an essential member of the creative team, the Designer works in collaboration with the Art Directors to design in-store, corporate and digital executions. The Designer must possess attention to detail, have a strong eye for design and apply a conceptual mindset to create powerful experiences and campaigns across both digital and physical retail environments. As a collaborative partner to cross-functional teams, the Designer shows excellent communication skills. The Designer will work with the Art Directors and Creative Directors to concept and design compelling executions across all JD Sports | Finish Line customer facing and corporate channels. This individual should effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:
Design across a range of large and small-scale projects, campaigns, and day-to-day tasks to support business needs including signage, POP, store placements, site promotions, emails, social and blog.
Use design direction provided by Creative leadership and create design direction independently to design executions across JD Sports | Finish Line channels.
Collaborate with cross-functional team members to produce forward thinking ideas that have a direct impact on business results and elevate the JD Sports | Finish Line brands.
Be a steward for brand consistency by enforcing and evolving JD Sports | Finish Line brand standards.
Assists with production of photo shoots as needed.
Manage time and project load to successful outcomes
Support the Art Director in guiding production resources to ensure quality control and standards are met through pre and post production processes.
Additional duties and projects as required.
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or 1 - 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional 1 - 3 years working in a design position, agency or in-house department. Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
A strong proficiency in Mac based Adobe Creative Suite, including In-design, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Premiere and After Effects are a plus. Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides.

The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting.

This role will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401k, sick leave, parental leave, and company paid time off plan.
