Client near Huntsville, AL is looking for a mechanical designer. Summary: In this role, you will perform mechanical design - conceputal design, detail drawings and red-line revisions. The work will likely be done on steel fabrication for machine design, with heavy plate design, possibly other items as well. Candidate will document and communicate with the Engineering team as designs are produced and give feedback on redline corrections. Required: Mechanical Design Experience Minimum 2-3 years' experience Autocad Solidworks Working Knowledge of Product Data Management Systems Microsoft Office Preferred: Working knowledge of machine/fabrication shop processes including flame burning, fabrication, machining and assembly would be a bonus. Pay: $30-$40/hr.
