The Stow Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Graphic Designer located in Holland, MI . We are the country’s premier source for custom closets and organizational solutions; designed, custom-cut, and shipped directly to our clients.
Primary Purpose of Position:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective visual delivery of brand messaging that brings The Stow Company’s brand strategies to life, ensuring consistency and clarity in maintaining the visual identity across all touchpoints. By leveraging your design expertise, you will evoke the desired action and emotion from target audiences, working to seamlessly translate business objectives into creative, impactful creative work.
This role will collaborate with internal stakeholders across three core distribution channels and 10+ brands, primarily our flagship Direct-to-Consumer brand, EasyClosets, and our national dealer brand, Inspired Closets. You’ll contribute to both critical marketing programs and new product launches, working across a range of design disciplines, including web, digital advertising, print, packaging, and more.
A successful candidate is adaptable, accountable for managing a high volume of work, and a relentless advocate for the consumer experience, helping drive marketing’s impact on revenue generation and product commercialization.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Contribute to Critical Marketing Programs
Execute cohesive marketing campaigns across web, email, social (organic and paid), and display, optimizing for new and returning customer conversion to drive revenue for EasyClosets, Stow’s Direct-to-Consumer brand.
Contribute to the national brand and content strategy for Inspired Closets and facilitate the execution of local marketing assets, supporting growth for 50+ Inspired Closets Dealers nationwide.
Serve as an in-house expert on visual assets, ensuring they evoke the desired emotional response and action from target audiences while maintaining and organizing assets in the digital asset management portal.
Capture visual assets using available resources to support annual advertising and content strategies.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define project scope and lead project-based design work. This includes marketing automation, one-off campaigns, UI/UX design for digital tools, and website updates/redesigns, ensuring alignment with project revenue goals.
Commercialize New Products in the Marketplace Contribute to the visual communications needed for product launches across Dealer, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), and Retail channels, identifying available existing assets or creating new ones as required.
Design deliverables for Market Launch Plans to successfully commercialize new products to both internal and external audiences.
Assist in photoshoots by identifying shot lists, persona style guides, and other necessary components.
Manage requests with external creative partners to produce digital renderings and photo edits, while also handling post-editing tasks such as color correction, compositing, and arrangement to bring new products to market or support product changes.
Concept and design web pages and digital experiences for Stow’s digital products, ensuring alignment with best practices in UI and UX design.
Champion Visual Consistency and Team Effectiveness Drive the creative development of branded materials across print and digital platforms, including packaging, sample kits, installation instructions, signage, and more, ensuring cohesive brand representation.
Serve as a brand guardian, upholding brand standards across all channels and maintaining a clear distinction between brand identities.
Strategically evaluate each marketing program and tactic within the broader business strategy, applying the necessary level of rigor to achieve objectives.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring creative briefs, quotes, approvals, invoices, and final artwork files are well-organized and readily accessible.
Stay up-to-date with the latest software and technologies, continuously seeking innovative solutions to enhance creative production.
Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to refine deliverables, and when needed, manage external creative resources by providing direction and feedback to ensure alignment with project goals and high-quality outcomes.

The Stow Company may temporarily assign any team member with duties outside of their normal responsibilities. Management will determine the nature and duration of those assignments.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
4-5 years of hands-on experience in graphic design, preferably within a marketing or consumer-facing environment
Agency experience a plus
Knowledge / Skills/Abilities: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat)
Expertise in image editing, color correction, and manipulation in Photoshop
Experience with a variety of digital marketing mediums, including email marketing, digital advertising (social media), and video.
Experience in print marketing, including layout and packaging design
Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple projects independently while collaborating within a team
Familiarity with photo and video production is a strong plus
Experience working in a consumer-facing marketing environment is highly desired
UI/UX design and familiarity with Figma is a plus
Proficient in MAC environments
Interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with individuals both internally and externally to The Stow Company
Must have excellent customer service skills; including strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to interface with all levels of personnel in an office and a manufacturing environment
Ability to take the initiative and work well independently with little supervision, and as part of a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT: Sitting at workstation approximately 90 percent of work time
Standing and walking approximately 10 percent of work time
Must be able to travel between plant and office locations
Ability to work overtime or occasionally on weekends with short notice
Typical office environment with shelves overhead and above work surfaces
