Mastech Digital is hiring: Mechanical Designer in Salem

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Mechanical Designer for our client in the Technologies domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 3 Months Contract

Location: Salem, NH

Salary: $50.00-$55.00/Hourly

Role: Mechanical Designer

Primary Skills: Engineering

Role Description: The Mechanical Designer must have 7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed 3D models and 2D drawings of cable assemblies using SolidWorks.

- Create and maintain design documentation, including specifications and assembly instructions.

- Collaborate with electrical engineers, manufacturing, and QA teams to ensure design feasibility and compliance.

- Assist in developing testing protocols for cable assembly performance and reliability.

- Select materials and components based on electrical, mechanical, and environmental requirements.

- Ensure designs comply with client standards and industry regulations (NFPA79, UL508A, CE, etc.).

Requirements:

- A.S./B.S. in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related field.

- 7+ years of experience in relevant fields.

- Extensive experience with schematic capture in SolidWorks.

- Lead experience in developing electrical documentation for complex control systems.

- In-depth knowledge of NFPA79, UL508A, and CE standards.

Education: A.S./B.S. degree in Electrical, Robotics Engineering, or related

Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses
