Selectek is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Managers on a portfolio of projects in education, assisted living, hospitality, and commercial office project types. Required: Associates degree or technical drafting certification 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design of HVAC systems for commercial buildings Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices Proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit Previous experience with Trane Trace software is a plus Here is the posted list of responsibilities: Design and layout of engineering drawings for building HVAC systems Coordinate installation with other trades Support workflow of foreman and project managers Work from schematic sketches to produce plan drawings Organize and file project drawings Maintain company drawings and standards Interact with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project Managers Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment Design and select HVAC systems and equipment Sponsorship:  No Salary Range:  $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience Term of assignment:  Direct Hire Location of Job:  Sarasota, FL, 34232 Hours & Shift:  Monday - Friday: 8AM – 5PM WFH: On Fridays Remote: No Overtime:  Occasionally Travel:  No Work Attire:  Business casual Does the client require a background check/drug test? Yes Please contact Lizzie Johns at 470-203-0754 and Ljohns@selectek.com for more information.
