Edoxx Technical Services LLC is a US Company based in Houston, Texas, with access to +350 highly experienced and advanced Engineers and Technicians delivering know-how and expertise in Civil, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation engineering. Other related fields such as Projects Control, QA/QC Inspection, 3D Geometrical and Intelligent Modeling, and Drafting are also available.Our client is looking for a Senior Piping Designer to work on-site at their Sugarland, Tx office. Our ideal candidate will be someone highly skilled with expertise with petrochemical EPC projects and proficiency in CADWorx. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our engineering team, responsible for designing and creating accurate piping layouts for various petrochemical projects.Responsibilities:Develop detailed piping design specifications, considering project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.Utilize Cadworx software to create 2D and 3D models of piping systems.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand project objectives and deliver designs that meet client expectations.Conduct thorough technical reviews of piping designs to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.Attend project meetings to provide expertise on technical aspects related to piping design.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers on piping design techniques and best practices.Qualifications:6 years of experience as a Piping Designer in the petrochemical industry or related field.Proficiency in using Cadworx software of piping systems is essential.In-depth knowledge of piping materials, components, fittings, valves, and equipment used in the petrochemical industry.Strong understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API 570, ASME Section VIII Div.1.Familiarity with plant layout concepts and ability to coordinate with other disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical) for integrated designs.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Effective communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
