Talented and creative professional specializing in folding furniture, indoor and outdoor furniture with a strong background in design and engineering, with the ability to transform concepts into tangible, market-ready products responsible for the entire product design process, from initial concept to final production, ensuring the products are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and manufacturable for global retailers.

+ Essential Job Functions

·       Develop innovative folding furniture, indoor and outdoor furniture concepts and designs

·       Create details sketches, renderings, and 3D prototypes

·       Collaborate with engineers, marketers, and other designers to refine product designs

·       Conduct research to understand market trends, user needs, and manufacturing processes specific to folding, indoor and outdoor furniture

·       Select appropriate materials and manufacturing techniques for both indoor and outdoor environments

·       Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to meet business and client needs

·       Prepare detailed design specifications, drawings, and production documentations

·       Oversee the production process to ensure design integrity and quality stands are met

·       Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies related to folding, indoor and outdoor furniture.

+ Education and Experience

·       Bachelor degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field

·       Proven experience in industrial design, particularly in folding furniture, indoor furniture, outdoor furniture, pet furniture with a strong portfolio of completed projects

·       Proficiency in design software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc), and 3D modeling software, coreldraw, Rhino, Keyshot, Cinema4D (C4D), 3Dmax, Pro-E, etc

·       Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and engineering principles for folding, indoor, outdoor furniture

·       Excellent sketching, rendering, and prototyping skills

·       Strong communication and presentation skills

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

·       Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities

·       Experience with global retail standards and regulations is a plus
