Pininfarina of America is looking for a talented and ambitious Junior Interior Designer to join our Miami office. The ideal candidate should have strong design capabilities, excellent technical skills, and work under the direct supervision of the Lead Interior Designer and Chief Officer of Architect; providing support to the Interior Design team with tasks such as, but not limited to, preparation of presentations, researching, ordering and organizing of project materials, specifications and files, drafting/modeling of interior drawings, and coordination with vendors for material library items. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Assisting Senior Designers with all aspects of a project from conceptual design, sourcing, and research for FF&E/ CMF (color, material, finishes) specifications, including organization of all project files and tangible project materials. Preparing graphically organized presentations and supporting the team on research and aesthetic design imagery and content. Attending internal team and project team meetings and/or site visits. Work closely and effectively under the supervision of leadership to keep informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, timely following up appropriately. Timely communication with team members and external consultants on process and deliverables to ensure accurate coordination of project documentation, including construction documentation drawings. Support on development and recording of drawing standards. Stay relevant and current on the research of Interior Design industry trends. Support managing organization, inventory, and cleanliness of Materials Library, including but not limited to communication with vendors. Track project time tracking using Resource Management by Smartsheet. Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with sensitive, confidential client information. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: 2+ years of professional experience in Interior Design. (Previous working experience within Hospitality, Multi-Family, and Commercial Interiors a plus) Possesses a team-based, collaborative spirit and an energetic positive attitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management. Able to take direction and constructive feedback from direct Supervisors. Resourceful and strong solution-based problem-solving skills. Ability to work both collaboratively and highly motivated independently, under time restrictive and deadline-oriented scheduling. Strong ability to provide clear, concise, and respectful communication with internal team members, vendors, and external clientele. Experience and prior working knowledge and sourcing FF&E, materials, textiles, finishes, and furniture. Strong skills in Space Planning and Construction Documentation experience. Fluent in English. (Spanish, Portuguese, or Italian- are a plus.) All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Proficiency with the following software: Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint AutoCAD Sketchup Revit (a plus, but not required) Rhino (a plus, but not required) Rendering software such as 3D Max, Enscape, Twinmotion, Lumion, etc. (a plus, but not required) #J-18808-Ljbffr
