Senior Mechanical Designer Job at Selectek in Detroit

Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Designer for a full-time position near Detroit, Michigan. Job Details Candidates will be responsible for designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for commercial, healthcare, and education projects. Designers will create, influence, and finalize designs involving piping, plumbing chillers, boilers, HVAC ducting, exhaust, and fire protection/sprinkler systems, as well as any other mechanical building systems. Required 10+ years of design experience Proficiency in Revit Knowledge of domestic cold and hot water, sanitary, and vent design Work history with International Building Code, NFPA, and ASHRAE standards Experience with compressed air and medical gas piping design Knowledge of local electrical codes to ensure compliance Compensation $36.00-$48.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion. Schedule Monday-Friday, flexible on start/end times. This firm offers a hybrid schedule of three days in the office, with two days working remotely.
