Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

AI will transform every business, but we’re still just scratching the surface of its potential. Its true power lies in its ability to automate the often overlooked workflows that are the lifeblood of organizations. At Airtable, we have the unique opportunity to provide AI tools that are deeply embedded within a team’s data and workflows, unlocking the potential to transform every business process.

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Product Designer to join our AI team and drive the creation of new AI-powered experiences. AI at Airtable will transform every Airtable app into a living, learning system that evolves with our users' needs, driving new levels of efficiency, insight, and innovation.

You’ll be an integral part of a collaborative team, contributing to both strategic vision and design execution. This role is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with 1-2 in-office days preferred per week for team collaboration.

What you’ll do:

  1. Craft exceptional AI experiences: Using your full range of product design skills to discover, design and deliver simple, beautifully-crafted AI experiences. You’ll level up some of the most important workflows in Airtable while holding a high bar for overall design quality.
  2. Contribute to a vision of Airtable with AI: Help design and drive a strong point of view about what the future could look like with AI seamlessly integrated into Airtable.
  3. Work closely with cross-functional partners: Partner effectively with Product Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to create cohesive AI use experiences.
  4. See Airtable through the eyes of our customers: Partner across the company and have direct conversations to understand the goals and needs of users in many industries. Leverage interviews and feedback sessions to inform your work.
  5. Help our design team thrive: Contribute to team critiques, spend time in collaborative jam sessions, and continue to learn and grow in your own craft and practice.

We might be a good fit for you if...

  1. You’re an experienced Product Designer: You have 8+ years experience and a portfolio of thoughtful, impactful work. Bonus if you’ve worked on AI, SaaS, or zero-to-one projects.
  2. You’re interested in exploring AI in work and life: You’re excited about staying up-to-date with the latest AI trends.
  3. You have a love for the technical side of tech: You love to work with engineers to create prototypes.
  4. You gravitate towards ambiguous and novel design problems: If the ideas of ambiguity and brainstorming have you nodding “yes”, then you’re a fit.
  5. You inspire your colleagues: We authentically admire and respect each other.

Airtable is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and strive to create a workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives.
