CAD/BIM Designer Job at Controlled Environment Systems in Cincinnati

Salary: $54,000.00-$68,640.00 per year plus OT

We are seeking a Full time CAD/BIM Designer with at least 2 years of experience to work in our Springboro, OH office! 

 

Summary of Responsibilities (Including, but not limited to):
 Participate with the design team to solve design questions and issues.
 Produce accurate, detailed, working 3D models and 2D construction sheets suitable
for construction utilizing sketches, product design sheets, and marked-up drawings.
 Participate in client facing coordination meetings to identify clashes, design
challenges, and aid in the overall design process.
 Process engineering document changes and updates as necessary.
 Implement field comments and changes into “As-built” drawings.
 Develop preliminary models and drawings to assist sales department in securing new
projects.
 Ensure that engineering documents are produced in a timely manner and meet
Western Environmental standards.
 Interpret project parameters and develop engineering documents independently with
the aid of the project team as needed.
 Develop and archive engineering library assets as necessary based on Western
Environmental standards.

Qualifications:
 Required: Applicable Technical School or Associate Degree
 Required: 2+ years of experience with REVIT and AutoCAD
 Required: Experience with Microsoft Office suite
 Desired: Experience with Navisworks and BIM Coordination
 Desired: Experience with Mechanical Design
 Desired: Experience with Microsoft Teams

Working Conditions:
 CAD Designers typically work in an office environment, but travel may occasionally be
necessary.
 CAD Designers work a standard work week but may be required to work some
evenings and weekends to meet project milestones on some occasions.
