Fox Manufacturing is hiring: CAD Designer & Drafter in Saint Augustine

We are seeking a Mechanical SolidWorks CAD Designer & Drafter at our Green Cove Springs, FL location to become a part of our team! You will prepare detailed working diagrams of machinery as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design projects to meet customer and engineering requirements
• Draft General Arrangement drawings for customer approval
• Create fabrication drawings, travelers, and DXF files for production
• Review projects to reduce errors to the floor
• Resolve design issues in fabrication and address root causes
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments
• Review and modify designs to reduce production deficiencies
• Provide timely updates for drawing completion and workload
• Coordinate with other colleagues regarding complex diagrams

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in mechanical drafting, manufacturing or other related fields
• Proficient using SolidWorks
• Familiarity with CAD or other related software
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Able to review and markup drawings using Adobe
• Familiar with steel fabrication, welding standards, and modeling with sheet metal
• Organized, meticulous, and thorough
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborative in a team environment
