Position Purpose:
Seeking world-class talent to join the world's leading distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts and value-added services operating 5,500+ locations and servicing more than 20,000 locations in the U.S and Canada.
Specifically, this role will function as a new product and innovation focused Staff UX Designer, reporting to the Sr Director of UX Design & Research. You will work with a motivated and talented team, playing a key role in directing the design and build of products for the customer of the world's largest automotive and industrial replacement parts distribution companies. You will have a start-up mentality and enjoy the challenge of working in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the UX strategy and design of new products for Repair Shop Management.
- Direct the work of a small team of hands-on designers.
- Coach and mentor designers, provide guidance on best methods, principles and processes.
- Collaborate closely with product to define and deliver market leading outcomes.
- Cooperate with your UX Research partner to obtain critical insights.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into groundbreaking new user value.
- Coordinate the design of prototypes for user testing to validate and improve designs.
- Demonstrate the ability to clearly communicate design decisions.
- Present designs to and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Proactively identify and communicate risks & issues and mitigate.
- Contribute to and improve broader UX team design processes & methods.
- Stay up to date with current design trends and technology advancements.
- Other duties as assigned.
