DIRECT HIRE | DESIGNER/DRAFTER | Orlando, FL area
Our client is looking for talented and detail-oriented Designer/Drafters with experience in structural or architectural drafting and/or design to join their growing team.
- Anticipate $40K-$80K, dependent on experience (multiple positions open with varying experience requirements, i.e. Drafting vs Designing)

Responsibilities:
- Design and Drafting: Develop detailed drawings and plans for commercial construction projects using AutoCAD.
- Collaboration: Partner with engineers, architects, and project managers to create comprehensive design solutions tailored to construction methods.
- Plan Review: Interpret and review project specifications, blueprints, and other technical documents specific to design.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
- Revisions: Update and revise drawings based on feedback from stakeholders and evolving project requirements.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Requirements:
- Prefer Design/Drafting related degree/certifications
- Experience: 1+ of experience in structural or architectural drafting/design for commercial construction projects
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with other design software (e.g., Revit, SketchUp) is a plus.
- **Experience with 3D renderings would be a big plus.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and attention to detail in drafting and design work.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
