JOB SUMMARY:
The Brand & Product Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for creating engaging graphics, videos, packaging, and additional visual content for C3 Industries brands Cloud Cover, Galactic, Habitat and future brands in currently in development. The Brand & Product Graphic Designer will work with the Director of Branding & Design and a broader marketing team to develop across a variety of creative media and will be tasked with creating content that aligns with the look and feel of each brand. This is a full-time, 3-month contract role.
JOB DUTIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Brand design and evolution: Retail support for seasonal promotions across all advertising channels (in-store printed and digital displays, digital ads, OOH) Packaging New brand building New campaign building Swag/Apparel Branded displays and signs Social, newsletter, and website graphics Photo editing including post-processing, manipulation and touch ups Develop graphics to support communications in alignment with strategic priorities and KPIs. Lead the implementation and adherence to brand design processes, guidelines and methodologies. Collaborate with cross functional leaders to understand business objectives and stay current with immediate and future design needs. Track and update projects through our Project Management System to ensure designs are created within the expected timeframe and all parties are aware of status. QUALIFICATIONS:
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator; experience in Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Animate, Keynote, and PowerPoint are a plus. Strong technical skills(s) in brand building, CPG packaging, and promotional campaign design across digital and print platforms. A creative out-of-the-box thinker with unique ideas and a deep passion for visual communication and aesthetics. A creative chameleon that can adapt design style to fit multiple brands' identities. Ability to work under time restraints and manage multiple, wide-reaching, and changing priorities. Proactive mindset and an eye for detail. Ability to creatively solve design problems. Experience within a creative team environment and working with project management systems is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to influence others. Experience in the cannabis industry is very highly preferred. Self-motivated and results-driven. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to pass a background check. EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of professional experience, preferably with a retail or CPG company and/or creative agency EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related discipline, or equivalent years of work experience and Graphic Design Certification in lieu of bachelor's degree. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS:
Employees are occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; employees are frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel; employees are regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. Employees are frequently required to lift up to 10 pounds.
