Ministry Expense Fund Paid annual training @ EXPONENTIAL in Orlando, FL with Lead Pastor & Staff Website: www.villaswesleyan.org Villas Wesleyan Church seeks a passionate and creative individual with big energy to join our team as a full-time PASTOR/ DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE ARTS + WORSHIP. In this role, you will be pivotal in creating worship environments that inspire believers and draw non-believers to Jesus. The PASTOR/ DIRECTOR OF CREATIVE ARTS + WORSHIP will work under the guidance of our Lead Pastor, ensuring alignment with Villas Wesleyan Church's beliefs, values, and mission. We are looking for someone who is dedicated, creative, and committed to promoting a life of discipleship with Jesus Christ. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead worship service(s) to help all people know God and serve others, thinking through the lens of someone new to church and far from God. Lead mid-week practice to ensure a high standard of musical excellence. Lead the worship planning process to create, plan, and implement worship experiences. Oversee recruiting, training, onboarding, scheduling, development, and care of the Worship Team. Develop, grow, and manage audio/visual experience and online production. Work closely with online and tech volunteers to implement and ensure excellence. POTENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Lead/ Oversee Adult Discipleship Lead/ Oversee Youth Ministry Lead/ Oversee Connections Ministry Lead/ Oversee Family Ministry Lead/ Oversee Special Event Ministry Lead/ Oversee Video Production Ministry OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Participate in weekly staff meetings, denominational activities/meetings, and special events as directed by the Lead Pastor. Attend the annual EXPONENTIAL Multiplication Training Retreat in Orlando with the Lead Pastor and other staff. Support other VWC ministry areas as needed. Participate in weddings, funerals, and other functions as needed. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO Can lead well vocally. Is energetic and passionate in worship. Able to use MultiTracks to fill out the musical experience in worship. Is articulate and comfortable on stage where it is natural for them to speak between songs, pray, and set up different service elements. Is creative and can take the Lead Pastor’s “big idea” and creatively plan worship services using a variety of experiential elements. Credentials While education is not the primary consideration, the preferred candidate will have earned, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree. Strong preference will be given to candidates who desire ordination and a place in The Wesleyan Church family. The ability to lead your ministry and your ministry space with excellence. Strong creative, musical, and vocal talent. Proven administration and communication (verbal and written) skills. Solid experience and ability to train and develop volunteers.
