Software / Web Developer

to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. This role involves administering, maintaining, and enhancing our SharePoint sites and associated web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SharePoint management, web development, and database management, with a keen eye for improving functionality and performance. Responsibilities: Website Development & Database Management: Provide support for website development and database management tailored to customer needs. Implement and oversee improvements to SharePoint sites and subsites on both high and low security environments. Maintain and enhance web applications, including performing daily updates and addressing functionality requests. SharePoint Administration: Administer SharePoint site collections, including creating, configuring, and managing new site collections. Set and manage permissions for site collections in alignment with the SharePoint Security Model. Regularly assess and recommend improvements to the SharePoint Security Model. Create and modify site templates, including the development of Style Sheets to ensure a cohesive user experience. Monitor SharePoint usage and sizing to prevent breaches of thresholds and address performance issues proactively. Technical & Support Tasks: Submit and manage requirements for compute, storage, database, SharePoint, or Tableau infrastructure provisioning within the Service+ platform. Location:

On-site in Springfield, VA Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8-10 years of relevant experience with the following: Experience in using SQL for relational database administration. Proven experience with SharePoint site administration, development, and maintenance. Experience with the SharePoint Security Model and site collection services. Familiarity with Service+ for infrastructure provisioning is a plus. Advanced experience and proficiency with ColdFusion. Intermediate experience working with JavaScript, AngularJS, JavaScript frameworks, Web Services, HTML, CSS, SQL, and MySQL Experience with NGA's GEOINT Services, DevOps, and related tools like Jenkins and GitLab. Experience with Enterprise Services such as PeopleSoft and GEOAxIS Strong communication skills and the ability to translate mission requirements into systematic functions and vice versa. Experience in other applicable languages like Python and Model Glue.
