Are you an ambitious, early-career accountant looking to get your start in the dynamic real estate industry? Our growing property development and management firm in vibrant downtown Columbus is seeking a detail-oriented Property Bookkeeper to join our team.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of property accounting and finance. Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining accurate books and records for our diverse portfolio of commercial and residential properties
Preparing monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Reconciling bank accounts and processing payments to vendors and contractors
Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
Providing support to our property managers and owners on accounting-related matters
The ideal candidate will have:
3-7 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Yardi
A passion for the real estate industry and a desire to contribute to a growing company
