As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations related to inventory, fixed assets, and sales/use tax. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and support the overall financial health of the company.

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and balances.
Monitor and analyze inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
Coordinate with departments to track and record acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of assets.
Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Provide support for audits, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Knowledge of inventory management, fixed assets, and sales/use tax regulations preferred.
1-3 years of accounting experience.
