Payroll Manager
to their team! You'll work with a supportive team in a well-established organization that values its employees and fosters professional growth.
This position offers remote flexibility, but individual must be local as this position will be onsite 1 day/week.
About the Role:
As the
Payroll Manager , you'll oversee the end-to-end payroll function for a workforce of 800+ employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Controller with dotted line to CFO, you'll handle payroll processing, tax filings, benefits administration, and more-all while playing a pivotal role in supporting the company's financial operations and employee satisfaction.

Payroll Manager Key Responsibilities
Process semi-monthly and bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for 800+ employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local wage and hour laws, and support related audits.
Address payroll-related inquiries and provide guidance on regulations to employees and management.
Implement and maintain payroll policies and procedures to streamline operations.
Prepare analytical reports and reconcile payroll tax accounts for accurate reporting.
Manage time and labor systems, assisting new hires with time-off tracking and requests.
Handle final pay, severance payouts, and agency notices, and oversee unemployment and local account registrations.
Contribute to audits, tax filings, and other payroll-related financial activities.
Payroll Manager Qualifications:
5-10 years of multi-state payroll experience.
Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is preferred
Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and local payroll laws.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
Certified Payroll Professional certification is a plus.
