About the Company and Opportunity: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications

This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager

Overview of the role: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications
Handle accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and monthly aging reports
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
Monitoring/tracking outstanding account balances
Assist with month-end closing procedures
Managing vendor relationships and resolve billing questions
Research and investigate revenue/AR discrepancies to ensure items are coded, processed, and recorded accurately and timely.
Analyze and process revenue transactions on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Prepare and enter adjusting journal entries.
Preferred Qualifications: Accounts Receivable & Cash Applications
Ability to communicate effectively with the organization and external audiences
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment, particularly in a small office setting
Proficient with Microsoft Excel functions
Experience with posting payments and researching discrepancies
Strong verbal skills are a must!
