The organization has been around for almost 100 years

The majority of properties are in NYC, with other locations in Florida, California, and the Midwest

The firm is located in Midtown, Manhattan.

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant:

Perform various reconciliations for all properties in the assigned portfolio on a monthly basis

Investments, checking, money market accounts

Record and monitor daily bank account activity for properties.

Post cash and disbursement entries as needed.

Collaborate with other departments on ad hoc projects to ensure needed information is provided in a proper and timely manner.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

3+ years of progressive accounting experience in the real estate industry

CPA or Public Accounting Experience a plus

Salary up to $75K depending upon experience level
