A national leader in real estate development is seeking a detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to manage finance and accounting for assigned projects, collaborating closely with directors, equity partners, and lenders.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly funding requests and coordinate closing statements.
Facilitate project transitions, including loan closings and land purchases.
Update budgets monthly and ensure compliance with operating agreements.
Interact with lenders on draw requests and cash flow calculations.
Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile ledgers.
Support the in-house property management team and collaborate with auditors.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
CPA license required or all four parts of the CPA exam passed
1-3 years of experience, including at least 2 years in public accounting audit or tax (2 busy seasons)
Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
Highly organized with strong prioritization abilities
