Your Role as a Business Development Representative:

As a Business Development Representative at CANDA Solutions, you will play a critical role in advancing our Business Development initiatives across Federal Government, State/Local Government, and Commercial/Private sectors. This dynamic role encompasses comprehensive support throughout the sales cycle, where you will engage in the review, research, and interpretation of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs). You will be instrumental in preparing proposals, crafting presentations, and cultivating relationships with key decision-makers.

To thrive as a Business Development Representative at CANDA Solutions, LLC, you will need to possess a variety of essential skills and experience. A preferred 1-2 years in a software sales enablement role is crucial, along with familiarity in reading and interpreting Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs) and navigating General Services Administration (GSA) processes. Proven proficiency in RFP and proposal writing techniques will enhance your ability to support our sales efforts effectively.

Additionally, a solid command of the Microsoft Office Suite, database software, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools-especially HubSpot-will be integral to your daily responsibilities. A certification in grant writing, proposal writing, or technical writing will further strengthen your qualifications.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • 2+ years of experience in a software sales enablement role preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in reading and interpreting Government-Wide Acquisition Contracts (GWACs).
  • 2+ years of experience with General Services Administration (GSA) processes.
  • Proven proficiency in RFP and proposal writing techniques. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) database software email and internet.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools; HubSpot experience is preferred.
  • Certification in grant writing, proposal, writing, or technical writing is preferred.
  • Active security clearance is a plus.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • College diploma or High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
