The following is a list of responsibilities and skills for this position:
- Produce finished graphics for leading national organizations
- Review job orders and prepare required materials and supplies for sign installation
- Determine layout and installation procedures
- Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installation
- Assemble and install products utilizing hand and power tools when needed
- Hand cut materials (vinyl) with Xacto knives, scissors, and utility knives
- Operate fabric transfer and hot knife
- Examine and measure finished articles to verify conformance to standards
- Mount, trim, steam, and sew completed printed materials
- Operate routing and cutting equipment
- Quality check printed images
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Obtain completed work sign-off from graphics lead
- Follow all safety guidelines and regulations
- Complete paperwork for graphics department requirements
Education, Licenses, and Experience
- 3 years or more of experience in laying down/cutting vinyl (Required)
- Experience in large format printing/laminating (Required)
- Mechanical and artistic aptitude
- Experience with power tools (Required)
- Attention to details
- Ability to troubleshoot situations in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in mounting and laminating
- Possess mechanical/cutting skills
- Excellent basic math skills (Required)
- Supervisory experience, particularly in a vinyl and graphics setting (Required)
