About the Role

The Dean will also be tasked with fostering a climate of respect, open communication, and teamwork, as well as supporting the research and scholarly activities of the faculty, students, and staff. Fundraising, public relations, and engagement with both university and external stakeholders are also key aspects of the role. Applicants for the Dean of the Library position at the company should have a master’s degree in library or information sciences or a related advanced degree, with a successful track record in academic library administration. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of emerging trends in library science, a proven ability to make data-driven decisions, and experience in development and fundraising. The ideal candidate will possess superior communication skills, a collegial leadership style, and the ability to build collaborative relationships.
