Marketing Assistant Job Summary: Sparks Group and a well-known company in Washington, DC have partnered to find a Marketing Assistant for a long-term contract. This will be a hybrid role requiring you to be in-office three days per week. Marketing Assistant Responsibilities: Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels. Help develop and distribute marketing materials, including social media posts, newsletters, and promotional content. Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to help inform marketing strategies. Help organize and promote events, trade shows, and other marketing activities, ensuring all logistics are handled effectively. Provide administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling meetings, maintaining databases, and organizing files. Assist in tracking and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns, gathering data, and preparing reports. Marketing Assistant Qualifications: BA/BS Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant field. 2 years of experience of progressively responsible experience in marketing and communications project management, preferable in a large service organization setting. Must be familiar with working in a matrixed organization. Must possess general office skills and be familiar with Microsoft word, excel and ppt.
