A global investment firm is looking for a Marketing Manager that will play a crucial part in enhancing brand reputation, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring consistent messaging across all communication channels. As the Marketing Manager, you will collaborate with senior stakeholders and teams to manage communications projects and craft tailored content and messaging to support business needs for both internal and external audiences. The ideal candidate is a skilled and creative communicator and project manager, and previous experience working with/for an investments or asset management firm is required. Responsibilities • Lead and manage internal and external communications projects from inception to completion, including campaign planning, content creation, stakeholder coordination, timeline management, and performance analysis, ensuring alignment with business strategies and organizational goals. • Create compelling internal content with clear line of sight to business strategy to engage employees, such as emails, intranet updates, and event communications and talking points. • Advise on executive leadership communications to ensure authenticity, consistency, and effectiveness. • Support the development and execution of digital and social media strategies. Create content for our LinkedIn channel and our website. Monitor online trends to identify opportunities for engagement and reputation management. • Partner across the firm to create strategic content targeting our external audiences (potential talent and current and prospective partners). • Manage communications and content calendar for internal and external efforts. • Partner with Director of Brand Strategy and Communications to create, implement and monitor metrics strategy that measures success of communications efforts; regularly reviews metrics to identify and recommend changes to further tailor strategy and content. • Partner with third-party agencies for support and keeps track of vendor spend. Preferred Skills & Experience • Excellent project management skills with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong editing and proofreading skills. • Strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely. • Passion for content creation and storytelling. • Effective collaboration and influencing skills. • Flexibility in approach and ability to work with minimal supervision to plan and prioritize own work. Able to operate with ambiguity. • Proactive in work style and focused on continuous improvement. • Proven expertise in brand strategy develop, positioning, and messaging. • Keen focus on delivering excellence. • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to financial services marketing. • Demonstrated stamina and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Change and crisis management communications. Qualifications • Degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing, or economics preferred. • Relevant experience for minimum 7 years with demonstrated proficiency in both internal and external communications and increased responsibility. • Applicants should have prior working experience in similar role within asset management/investments industry (in-house or agency) • Experience in handling sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism. • Displays strong communication, organizational, analytical, critical thinking, and team building skills. • Advanced presentation, influencing, and relationship management skills. • Strong business operations knowledge to include understanding market conditions strongly preferred.
