Job Overview: The Marketing Specialist will play a vital role in developing and executing marketing campaigns. This position requires a blend of creativity, writing and analytical skills, along with experience in using Pardot and Salesforce. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong copywriting and email design skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Campaign Development: Create and execute cohesive, cyclical and multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Copywriting: Craft action-driven copy for various marketing materials, including emails, landing pages, newsletters, advertisements and promotional content, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with campaign goals.
- Email Marketing: Design and implement effective email marketing campaigns using Pardot, ensuring segmentation and targeting strategies are optimized for engagement and conversion.
- Data Analysis: Utilize marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance, measure results and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. Must be able to communicate results to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Community Management and Product Development, to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives and gather insights for campaign refinement. Develop and maintain all relevant marketing and sales collateral to support marketing campaigns and defined commercial needs.
- Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and campaigns are executed flawlessly.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the sports or sports business sector.
- Proficiency in using Pardot and Salesforce or other CRM/marketing automation tools.
- Strong copywriting skills with a proven track record of creating engaging content.
- Experience in designing effective email campaigns and understanding email best practices.
- Results-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and drive decisions based on insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a global organization with different cultures and communication styles.
