 Barton & Guestier USA (B&G USA) was founded in 20I0, in Miami, Florida and is charged with acting as the exclusive US importer and distributor for its Parent Company's portfolio of wines, namely wine brands falling under Barton & Guestier, Patriarche and Listel wine houses. B&G USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Barton & Guestier France (B&G France), a French owned company part of the Castel Group. B&G USA itself owns BGPL USA the subsidiary company that manages the U.S. Department of Treasury Alcohol Importer permit which allows the import and distribution of the wines produced by its Parent Companies. The core mission of the company is to continue to build the 3 prestigious French wine houses of the group through expansion of distribution, strengthening of distributor relationships and a focus on well executed marketing plans.

POSITION SUMMARY:
BGPL-USA is looking for a Marketing Assistant that is a highly motivated, well organized, and self-starting individual. The mission is to assist the Marketing Manager in developing effective marketing and communication strategies that will meet BGPL USA objectives and support sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •  Collaborate with team members to execute sales and marketing campaigns, being involved in brainstorming sessions to execute marketing plans for internal and external projects.
  •  Measure and report performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals.
  •  Assist with the development and management of sales support tools such as marketing materials and technical collaterals.
  •  Help gather, analyze, and present brand, competitor insights, trends, and data.
  •  Identify and report sales team needs based on internal and external surveys.
  •  Support the organization and coordination of marketing events such as tradeshows, wine dinners, trainings, and conferences.
  •  Coordinate public relations and outreach initiatives, including press release distribution, awards, and company announcements.
  •  Write and edit knowledgeable content for different platforms such as social media and websites.
  •  Maintain brands and products online visibility by updating and sharing approved content and visuals.
  •  Assist in managing US social media channels, developing dynamic contents, and replying to users’ interactions.
  •  Coordinate and process product samples and marketing materials requests.
  •  Support the maintenance and update of a comprehensive internal database ensuring effective sources of information for sales team (SharePoint).
  •  Attending and executing all necessary General Sales meeting presentations and beneficial tradeshows, consumer facing activities and brand activations (e.g., Wine tastings, wine dinners, wine festivals).
  •  Following the guidelines and using the tools developed by the company to achieve common goals.
  •  Regular in and out-of-state travel with some international travel by various means of transportation (air, train, or vehicle).
  •  Involve and work with Regional Sales Directors and keep them aware of your plans and achievements to achieve our common goals.
  •  Report directly to National Marketing Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
  •  2+ years’ experience in Marketing for an enterprise in the US Wine industry.
  •  College graduate with an international profile. A specialization in Wine & Spirit business management or similar commercial field is preferred.
  •  Proven competency in marketing, project management and business development
  •  Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  •  Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
  •  Excellent executive presence, communication (both oral and written) and selling skills. Articulate and impactful in group presentations and meetings.
  •  Enthusiasm, energy, and motivated self-starter who can work with a team and independently.
  •  Experience in e-com and Digital Marketing would be a great asset.
  •  Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  •  Budgeting and financial focused mindset
  •  French speaking would be a plus.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
 Ability to travel and work some weekends.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 Must have a valid driver’s license.
 Must be able to sit, stand or walk for a prolonged period.
 Must be physically able to lift and carry cases of wine and promotional materials. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Occasionally bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch, or climb.
 The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
 Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery employing repetitive arm and wrist motions, such as a computer and phone. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
 Specific vision abilities require close and distance vision.
