Job Type Full-time Description Harbor's Edge is a premier 5-star, resort-style Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) located alongside the beautiful harbor in Norfolk, Virginia. Our community consists of 300 Independent Living Residential Units, a 33-bed (Medicare/private) Skilled Nursing Healthcare Unit, a 40-bed Assisted Living Unit, and 34-bed Memory Support Unit. We are seeking a highly qualified, full-time Marketing Coordinator to join our team to assist in delivering excellent care for our residents. The ideal candidates will have senior living experience (e.g., long-term care, assisted living, memory support) with a passion for working with an elderly population. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs basic administrative functions, such as answering the telephone, transferring calls, greeting visitors and guests, maintaining office supplies/forms, etc. Responds to inquiries from prospects Prepares and distributes correspondence and mailings Helps produce and maintain marketing collateral Prepares and distributes sales reports, maintains files, schedules appointments and meetings, maintains department calendar Organizes, coordinates, and assist in planning marketing events Demonstrates positive resident relations and maintains pleasant, professional attitude at all times MARKETING STRATEGIES: In this role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside the sales team in developing successful marketing campaigns and strategies to drive new leads to the community. MAINTAINING A SUCCESSFUL SALES ENVIRONMENT: You will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming environment for guests and visitors, ensuring the team is supplied with the tools they need to be successful. You will be responsible for greeting guests and visitors and following up with new inquiries via phone and online, conducting initial discovery over the phone and supporting the team by entering new leads to the database in a timely manner. TEAM COMMUNICATION: One of the primary objectives of the Marketing Coordinator is to ensure smooth communication among the team so that everyone is working toward the same goals and objectives. You will provide this through strong and consistent communication, regular marketing meeting attendance and follow-up, and maintaining the community filing system for new admissions and marketing items. Your job will be to communicate across departments to ensure all team members have the information they need to support the move-in process for a new resident.
