Havtech is looking to hire an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team and serve as a liaison and partner between the sales and marketing teams to help to develop strong technical and strategic marketing collateral.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other functions may be assigned.
Contributing to marketing strategies by researching market trends and associated technologies.
Collaborate and lead the sales and marketing teams on product campaigns.
Research competitor products including technical and marketing materials.
Developing competitive positioning collateral across broad range of products.
Create technical documentation such as white papers, product presentations and training materials.
Anticipating market driven product needs and interacting with the manufacturer to provide feedback on required functionalities to be incorporated into the product design.
Training marketing and sales teams on product specifications and functionalities.
Accompanying sales and marketing teams to events, product launches, and client locations.
Delivering presentations and performing product demonstrations.
Answering client queries and providing technical product support.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
5-10 years experience in HVAC industry.
Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies and product positioning.
Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
Great negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Speaks confidently and articulately in front of a group.
Demonstrate the ability to think both analytically and creatively.
Possesses strong writing skills.
Capable of conducting independent research
One who thrives in a faced paced environment.
