Job Description
One of our top clients are looking for a Marketing Budget Administrator. In this role, you will administer, analyze, and optimize the budget for marketing programs across campaigns, verticals, and partner marketing teams. You'll work closely with the key cross-functional marketing teams to support the budget tracking and procurement process related to the marketing programs. Need to have great communication and coordination skills, project management experience, and experience supporting marketing programs.
Primary job responsibilities
· Provide operational coordination, support, and consultation to the corporate demand generation team on budget planning and tracking
· Collaborate with the marketing program managers to review their quarterly budget plans, consolidate the plans, and add them to the budget tracking tool
· On a monthly basis, work with marketing managers to track the budget against the allocations and help them be within the spend variance
· Work with the digital marketing manager to deploy and track spend on digital marketing activities across regional teams (including SOW review and receiving from regional digital marketers). This responsibility includes regular communications with marketers.
· Deliver fluctuation analysis of operational performance (budget to the actual, period over period, and forecast to actual) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
· Working with the marketing managers, identify opportunities to optimize the budget across the programs
· Engage with operational and organization levels on procurement and accounts payable activities supporting budgeting and monthly forecasting
· Request purchase orders in the procurement tool for procuring marketing services or products needed by the marketing managers
· Track to closure the purchase orders once the services or products are procured successfully
· Work with cross-functional teams from the marketing budget and finance to ensure a coherent alignment of the marketing budget and spend
· Manage the day-to-day interactions with all regions on the status of activities to make sure organizational finance time frames/deadlines are met
Required skills
· Bachelor's degree or higher
· 2+ years of business-to-business program marketing experience, preferably in the marketing budget administration for technology firms
· Hands-on experience using spreadsheet tools such as MS Excel or Google Sheets
· Knowledge of budget management tools such as Allocadia and procurement management modules in any ERP software is a plus
