Job Description
Compensation Range: $21.98 - $27.47/hour
Work Location: Warner Center, Fourth Floor, 332 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222-2411
Schedule: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
Travel Required: travel will be required.

The Marketing Associate will support the organization’s mission and commitment to social justice by executing daily marketing activities that strengthen brand awareness and engage diverse audiences. Through innovative strategies and training team members in media and event coverage, they will foster a consistent, mission-driven message and make a meaningful impact across all communications.
The ideal Marketing Associate candidate demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, coupled with a creative and innovative mindset. They possess a deep understanding of the organization’s broader mission and are adept at connecting diverse programs to further its objectives. With a passion for social justice, they are committed to advocating for the organization’s values and creating compelling content that motivates potential donors to take action. Detail-oriented, reliable, and consistently follow through on tasks, the candidate also excels in written communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective collaboration and engagement.

Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent AND 5 years of experience OR
- Associate Degree AND 3 years of experience OR
- Bachelor Degree AND 1 year of experience
*Higher EDU. will be accepted in lieu of Bachelors degree, 1 year of experience will still be required.
Education:
- Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field - Preferred
Experience:
- Experience in marketing, marketing through social media platforms, digital marketing tools, web design, web maintenance or related experience. – Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. – Required
- Internship experience in marketing – Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Preferred
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) – Preferred
- Proficiency in salsa CRM (or similar constituent management software) - Preferred
Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:
- Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
- Candidates must have proof of full COVID 19 vaccination status OR be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine OR provide an applicable medical/religious exemption prior to the first day of employment.
