POSITION PURPOSE

The position is responsible for supporting both the internal and external communications of CASE Credit Union. The position will be responsible for creating and producing various multimedia materials to support our marketing and communications efforts. This individual will work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging and impactful visual content for a variety of platforms, including digital, print, and social media.
This position will also work closely with the various product groups and disciplines to align content with core messages and promote events, projects, and current initiatives as needed. Assignments will be coordinated and prioritized by the head of the marketing department.

This position in largely remote, but will have duties in the Lansing, MI area.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
  1. Assumes responsibility for supporting CASE internal communications.
  1. Create and execute communication plans for various functions and groups
  2. Engage with teammates throughout the organization as clientele. Participate in organizational and departmental projects and initiatives to ensure effective internal communication
  3. Assist with communication initiatives that impact all employees.
  4. Draft editorial and creative content for various communications to improve employee engagement, and understanding
  1. Assumes responsibility for supporting CASE's external communications.
    1. Working on a team with social media lead to support to create, publish, collect and manage content for posting on various social media sites
    2. Demonstrate knowledge of social media trends and recommend/apply relevant social media techniques, processes and tools to continuously improve overall results and efficiency
    3. Conduct communication audits
    4. Work closely with various company corporate functions, groups and divisions to collect content
    5. Respond to member feedback/comments received through social and web based platforms, and at community events.
  1. Assists other Marketing Specialists in daily activities that include graphic design, project/event planning, etc.
  1. Apply visual design best practice principles to the design and development of print and digital elements (graphics, videos, animations, brochures, etc.), while maintaining CASE Credit Union branding/graphics standards.
  2. Manage multiple, simultaneous projects to reach targets, staying on schedule and on budget.
  3. Understand and maintain the branding identity strategy for campaigns.
  4. Create multimedia content for a variety of media platforms.
  5. Basic understanding of how to record and edit video and audio.
  6. Provide initial conception and estimates for media development. Develop layout and concept designs for approvals.
  7. Collaborate closely with people, both internal and external, on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, production level and platforms, turnaround time, corrections, and approvals.
  8. Analyzing the performance of multimedia content and making recommendations for improvements based on data and insights.
  9. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop multimedia strategies and concepts that align with our marketing goals
  10. Manage and maintain the credit union's multimedia library, ensuring that all content is up-to-date and easily accessible
  11. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in multimedia production and design
  12. Assist with live event coverage and photography as needed
  13. Ensure that all multimedia content produced adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements
  1. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining professional relations with members, both internally and externally.
  1. Resolves questions, requests and problems promptly and courteously.
  2. Maintains and protects the Credit Union's professional reputation.
  3. Works with the marketing team on the inception and development of creative ideas and concepts related to individual campaigns. Provides suggestions, ideas, and support to area personnel. Assists with special projects as needed.
  1. Works with marketing staff to coordinate completion of projects within established schedules and budgets.
  2. Assists and supports personnel as needed.
  3. Attends and participates in meetings as required.
  4. Keeps management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
  1. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.
  1. Completes special projects as assigned.
  2. Ensures that work area is clean, secure and well maintained.
  3. Excellent spelling, grammar and proofreading skills.
  4. Extremely detail-oriented, well-organized and have time management skills in order to meet deadlines.
  5. Possesses a strong ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization.
  6. Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
  1. Member service is accurate, prompt and courteous. Requests for assistance are handled efficiently, professionally.
  1. Ensures the accuracy of all marketing related material. This includes content, spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc.
  1. Events are well organized, appropriately staffed and represent CASE in a positive manner.
  1. Social media presence follows the established plan and continuously increase member and future member engagement.
  1. All Credit Union's professional standards are maintained and good business relations exist with members and future members.
  1. Effective working relations exist with Credit Union personnel. Assistance is provided as needed.
  1. Management is appropriately informed of area activities and of any significant problems.


QUALIFICATIONS

Required Knowledge:Proven experience in multimedia content creation, including video editing, graphic design, and animation
Proficiency in multimedia software and tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and others
Strong understanding of visual storytelling and design principles
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Knowledge of marketing and branding principles is a plus

education/Experience Required:Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, or related field or associate degree with two or more years of experience.

Excellent analytical skills, creative problem solving skills and strong planning and organizational skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects
Ability to maintain confidential information and data discreetly
