The Marketing Intern’s purpose is to create content that aligns with WyoTech’s overall marketing vision and goals. This position will be responsible for creating content such as Tik Tok’s, Instagram reels, and live story footage.


Responsibilities:

  • Create a repository of videos and photography from around all shops on the WyoTech Campus
  • Coordinate with marketing to organize content
  • Research industry related topics
  • Create engaging and trending content
  • Interview students, staff, industry partners etc
  • Post live content on social media stories
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to schedule posts on Spout social
  • Stay up to date with common social media trends
  • Support the overall storytelling of WyoTech’s success across all channels

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Outgoing and positive attitude
  • Be solution oriented, resourceful, and proactive with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
  • Excellent time management skills and organization skills
  • Excellent with apple products
  • Experience in all social media platforms
  • Experience in video editing/ content creation
  • Ability to match brand aesthetic
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirement and priorities that may require overtime or extended hours.


Requirements:

(A combination of the following experience and training, or the equivalent of, would be qualifying):

  • 1-2 years of experience in content creation
  • Excellent in TikTok and other social media content creation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent creative skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Adept proficiency with Microsoft products (SharePoint, teams, etc.)
