Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $55,000-$65,000
Location:
This is a remote position that requires the employee to work remotely while communicating virtually with the Work World stores and corporate team around the country. Periodic travel to our retail store locations is required. This position must be based in California, Nevada, or Washington and in a market where Work World has a store presence.

We sell boots, apparel, and safety gear from top vendors in the industry including Carhartt, Wolverine, Timberland Pro, and more. We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our corporate marketing team!
Job Description:

The Marketing Coordinator will assist in a variety of hands-on tasks supporting our day-to-day marketing campaigns and long-term strategic marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Ecommerce, this role plays a critical part in bringing our integrated marketing campaigns to life across digital channels, workworld.com, our brick-and-mortar retail locations, and traditional advertising media channels. Ideal candidates will have a track record of working collaboratively on integrated marketing campaigns, as well as excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.

What You’ll be Doing:
  • Marketing Administration:
    • Support the cross-functional team by maintaining the marketing shared drive, running day-to-day operations of Asana project management software, scheduling and leading meetings with internal and external partners, managing our 360 marketing calendar.
  • Brand Partnerships & Co-Op Marketing:
    • Collaborate daily with our product vendors (the brands we sell) to bring partnership marketing efforts to life, coordinate campaign briefs and creative approvals, report results, and submit administrative claims for shared marketing funds.
  • Email Marketing:
    • Manage the day-to-day of our Email Marketing campaigns, leverage our email list of 200K+ subscribers, brief in creative, communicate campaign strategies, approve assets, and report results. Recommend strategies to foster and improve our Email Marketing outreach.
  • Social Media:
    • Manage the day-to-day of our owned social media pages (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube), manage the Social content calendar, publish content, manage our Social community, respond to comments and messages, recommend strategies to foster and improve our Social Media presence, and report results.
  • Digital Marketing Coordination:
    • Work collaboratively with our external Digital Agency to communicate campaign strategies and budgets, brief in creative, approve assets, and report results.
  • Retail Store Marketing Coordination & Events:
    • Work collaboratively with our internal Store Operations team to bring monthly in-store marketing campaigns to life across our 34 store locations, including store POP signage, exterior posters and graphics, gift-with-purchase items, and other POP materials. Additionally, lead customer outreach and day-of execution for periodic in-store events for customers.
  • Radio, OOH, Print Media Coordination:
    • Collaborate with our radio, OOH, and Print Media external partners to communicate campaign strategies and budgets, brief in creative, approve assets, and report results.
  • Annual Sale Events:
    • work collaboratively with our product vendors (the brands we sell), our external Graphic Designer, and our internal Merchandising team to bring large Annual Sales to life across workworld.com and our retail store locations. Including communication of strategies and budgets, creative briefs, in-store signage and visuals, approve assets, and report results.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a professional marketing position.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrated marketing campaigns, including digital and traditional media.
  • Demonstrated experience in a retail store environment or with a retail company, with a strong understanding of successful retail marketing tactics.
  • Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management software.
  • Demonstrated understanding online community management best practices, specifically Social Media and Email Marketing.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing best practices and marketing analytics, and ability to make recommendations for our company to improve our marketing performance.
  • Professional experience with apparel and/or footwear retail, prefered.
  • Excellent computer skills, and ability to learn multiple software applications quickly, and use a variety of software applications proficiently.
