Guardian is seeking a Marketing Manager to support and advance our sales and marketing team. Guardian is at a pivotal stage in our business journey, with our recent expansion into the Portland metro area while simultaneously continuing to grow in the Puget Sound region of Washington. The Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in this expansion, especially in establishing a brand presence in a new market while supporting new product offerings in the highly competitive Seattle/Puget Sound region. To do this, the ideal candidate will champion the company marketing efforts, create promotional materials and campaigns, execute internal and external communication strategies, managing websites, SEO, digital marketing, social media platforms, and any other administrative or marketing duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies to increase leads and revenue, including PPC, SEO, email, social media, and traditional marketing
  • Manage relationships with digital marketing vendors to ensure optimal performance of campaigns and clear alignment with business goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create and execute targeted campaigns for both the Seattle and Portland markets
  • Oversee local marketing initiatives, sponsorships, and community involvement to strengthen Guardian Roofing’s presence in the market
  • Lead and manage direct mail campaigns to drive customer engagement and generate leads
  • Oversee mass media buying (TV, radio, billboards) to enhance brand visibility and support lead generation efforts
  • Track and report on key performance metrics, analyzing data to refine and adjust marketing strategies for maximum ROI
  • Oversee all content and creative initiatives, ensuring a cohesive brand presence across all platforms and materials, including the website, social media, and print.
  • Manage and allocate the marketing budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and positive returns
  • Work with the sales team to align marketing efforts with sales goals and customer engagement strategies
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices to enhance Guardian Roofing’s competitive edge

· Other sales/marketing/administrative duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Intimate knowledge and understanding of all traditional and emerging marketing channels including advanced knowledge of social media platforms and functionality (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, LinkedIn, X).

· Knowledge of SEO best practices and Google analytics, etc. to maintain an effective online presence.

· Ability to think creatively, innovatively, and brainstorm ideas for new campaigns that are on brand and within budget.

· Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and public speaking.

· Must have the ability to build trust with internal and external team and clients along with the ability to gather and leverage customer insights/feedback to help understand customer pain points and build marketing strategies that eliminate them.

· Strong project and time management skills to coordinate effectively with team and clients.

· Familiarity with latest trends, technologies, and methodologies in graphic design, web design, videography, including CRM tools, Adobe, etc.

· Ability to use and understand online tools to track, monitor, and increase web traffic.

· Act as point of contact for marketing vendors and affiliates.

· Coordinate and attend all marketing related events including vendor meetings, company, charitable, and PR related events and all hands meetings.

· High School Diploma or Equivalent/Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred

· 2-5 years of Marketing and Communication experience in home services preferred.

· Excellent time management & organization skills.

  • Drive measurable lead generation from marketing initiatives within 6 months, maintaining adherence to budget guidelines
  • Focus on reducing cost per conversion and cost per sale through innovative and creative marketing strategies
  • Enhance brand recognition and reputation in both the Seattle and Portland markets
  • Strengthen customer loyalty, leading to higher client retention and increased referral rates
  • Improve Guardian Roofing’s digital presence, resulting in higher engagement and customer acquisition
  • Maximize efficiency in marketing spend, leading to a stronger return on investment (ROI)
Requirements:


  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in the home services or construction industries
  • Experience in digital marketing, including PPC, SEO, and LSA
  • Expertise in email marketing, with a track record of successful campaigns
  • Strong vendor management skills, with a focus on holding vendors accountable for performance and meeting objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Experience in managing direct mail campaigns, from concept to execution, with measurable success
  • Proficiency in mass media buying (TV, radio, print) to enhance brand visibility and lead generation
  • Ability to coordinate and manage cross-channel marketing efforts, ensuring consistency across digital, print, and traditional media
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing both vendors and internal teams to drive successful outcomes
  • Excellent communication, project management, and vendor management skills
  • Familiarity with marketing tools such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Local Service Ads, and SEO tools like SEMRush and Moz

LOCATION AND SHIFT

  • Auburn, WA. This is a fully on-site position.
  • Monday – Friday with flexible office hours.
