General Summary
We are seeking a highly innovative and organized Marketing Manager who will implement positive marketing initiatives for our growing company. The Marketing Manager is responsible for RTC’s marketing and communications strategies, as well as overall branding and image. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help it define a “voice” that will make a difference. Thereby, supporting internal and external customers while captivating and walking potential customers down a sales pathway. The Marketing Manager will prepare annual marketing plans, create a calendar of campaigns and events, help set the marketing budget, and analyze the market and competitors. An ideal candidate will be an effective collaborator, creative content creator, and motivator who can lead the marketing team to success.
Essential Job Functions
- Crisply define the product value and positioning for several strategic products in the enterprise portfolio
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product management, and other teams to build alignment around go-to-market plans for products and solutions
- Closely monitor the success of go-to-market activities by tracking KPIs such as CAC, market share, ARPU, churn product/feature adoption, funnel, win rates, and customer feedback
- Develop resources to support RTC’s internal and external customers while driving leads, subscribers, and awareness
- Serve as a partner to product development and finance in determining the viability of potential markets before the production of a product. Work with product development teams to manage new product development.
- Oversee social strategy and RTC’s website include content, functionality, and traffic/lead generation
- Establish positioning, identify target audiences, prepare/analyze budgets, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
- Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with proposals and recommendations on tactics
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to team members, and provide instructions for use or promotion
- Produce valuable and engaging content for different channel outlets that attract and converts target groups
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, lnDesign, and Illustrator
- Knowledge of social platforms, management, and integration
- Expertise and interest with SEO/SEM and keyword strategy
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and web development
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with an eye for creativity
- Experience building complex marketing programs/campaigns and reporting on the results
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding.
- Strong ability to extract the differentiating capabilities to position solutions, drive product awareness, and capture market demand
- Creative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, journalism, communications, or relevant field required, MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- 3+ years of total work experience preferred, including time spent marketing technology products in a B2B and B2C environment
- Proven experience as a marketing manager/creative content creator or related role
- Proven experience with creating, executing innovative and targeted marketing programs that generate results
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically; able to make sound decisions quickly and efficiently
- Creative thinker, with a track record for translating strategic thinking into action plans and output
