The Marketing Assistant is responsible providing customer service for guests while providing marketing support for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safeguards asses of the company.
  • Assists and serves guests, providing a high standard of customer service.
  • Creates players’ accounts and prints players’ cards.
  • Redeems points for members in Players Club at Gift Shop.
  • Keeps the Gift Shop stocked at all times.
  • Responsible for conducting promotions and drawings by following promotional rules and regulations.
  • Issues promotional prizes and maintains computer database of prize winners at the Players Club.
  • Provides proper recaps for promotions.
  • Provides concierge service to hosted players as needed.
  • Assists Marketing Supervisor with any other duties designated.
  • Periodically provide operational overview as defined in Chapter A – Job Descriptions. The scope of the overview provides no additional authority outside of their job description and must comply with reporting relationships, signatory ability, access to sensitive areas and other requirements outlined in the internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or GED is required. Experience in customer service is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Must be able to obtain a Level II License from Missouri Gaming Commission

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office including excel, word, and power point.

Reasoning Abilities

Planning, remembering details, using arithmetic, reading, directing others, making decisions, discriminating colors, working rapidly, working at various tempos, concentrating amid distractions, remembering names & faces, examining & observing details

Physical Demands

Standing, Walking, Reaching, Kneeling, Carrying, Pulling, Hearing, Lifting 10 lbs., Sitting, Bending/Stooping, Observing, Stretching, Pushing, Turning, Balancing

Work Environment

Inside, Dry, Noisy, Secondary Smoke and Bright Lights
