About the role: Building a successful advertising campaign takes careful planning, development, and a strong social media strategist who can reach the target demographic. Potomac is seeking a skilled social media strategist to help us build ad campaigns that capture prospects’ attention and engage existing customers. They will analyze survey metrics, YouTube ratings, and web page visits to build target customer profiles, then create optimized ad campaigns. They’ll also lead and manage marketing projects, primarily planning and executing the budget and status reporting. This role requires both analytical and creative thinking and the ability to excel in strategic and tactical capacities. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline preferred 2 years experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager 2 years in the wealth management or wider financial services industry Strong understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics/analytics Excellent analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills What You'll Do: Maintain a cohesive social media strategy across various channels to achieve high levels of user engagement Manage a social media content calendar for various channels, coordinated with paid ad and promoted content Monitor and evaluate digital channel and campaign performance to drive continuous improvement Research social media trends and hashtags relevant to our target audience, event attendance, and industry participation Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to promote event/conference engagement through social channels Responsibilities: Identify opportunities to grow awareness and generate demand through organic and paid digital marketing channels Create, manage, and publish original and high-quality content across various channels Analyze data and metrics to create weekly and monthly reports on engagement and ROI Manage all company social media accounts to ensure relevant, up-to-date content Ideate on creative assets and coordinate with external design resources as required Respond directly to comments and questions on social media posts Collaborate with the marketing team to grow the company’s network and target new followers About Potomac: In the past four years, Potomac has grown from under $140M to over $1.7B in AUM.
