We are looking for a skilled Marketing Specialist for our Advancement team. As a key member of the Advancement team, the Marketing Specialist will play a pivotal role in promoting the mission, values, and services of Everett Gospel Mission. This position requires a passionate and dedicated individual who can develop and implement effective marketing strategies to increase awareness, engagement, and support for our organization's programs and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, creativity, and a deep commitment to the teachings of Christ with a demonstrated ability to integrate those teachings into daily work and interactions with colleagues and clients. 

This role is primarily internally operating, externally facing. A successful teammate will work on site a minimum of 3 days a week, Tuesday – Thursday, but may be required to be present other days of the week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Areas of responsibility include: Marketing & Communication, Content Creation and Management, Digital Marketing, Brand Management, Collaboration and Coordination, Data Analysis and Reporting. 
  • Lead in the development and ongoing management of a collaborative Coordinated Communications Plan that aligns with EGM’s mission and goals. 
  • Leverages technology for one-to-many communications. 
  • Leverages external partnerships. 
  • Identifies target audiences and creates tailored marketing strategies to engage and expand our supporter base. 
  • Work closely with the leadership team to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and objectives. 
  • Ability to communicate and support Kingdom values and love of Christ in the function of marketing communication. 
  • Develop, write, edit, and finalize a wide range of fundraising and marketing collateral for digital and print including direct mailers, online content, messaging, brochures, letters and communications to both internal and external audiences. May include advertisements, social media, and other product/event promotions. 
  • Function as the in-house creative and work with external partners in the production of marketing materials to ensure materials are on-brand, error-free, delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Act as a communications consultant on medium to large size projects, with both internal and external partners and/or clients. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field or 5+ years of equivalent experience. 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing, preferably within a non-profit or Christian organization. 
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content creation. 
  • Tech savvy with strong computer skills. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns. 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

Preferred Qualification 

  • Experience in graphic design and/or video production. 
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools. 
  • Knowledge of fundraising strategies and donor engagement.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to work in a safe manner. 
  • Occasionally lift 20 pounds. 
  • Frequent combination throughout the day: sitting at desk and moving from building to building; being outdoors regularly throughout every shift

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time 

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year 

Expected hours: 40 per week
