The Bachrach Group is hiring: Marketing Coordinator in East Elmhurst

We are recruiting for a Marketing Coordinator to work in East Elmhurst, NY.  The Marketing Coordinator would be a part of a team, coordinating/executing marketing, communications, and community initiatives.  The ideal candidate should possess strong project management skills as well as knowledge of social media tools and applications.

Daily responsibilities would include:

·    Updating the website, and monitoring/providing content for the intranet and social media channels

·    Coordinating signage program and coordinating/tracking design projects with design agency

·    Updating digital platforms and organizing/maintaining digital asset library

·    Supporting marketing and communications functions

·    Working with the firm’s PR agency, coordinating PR related activities, i.e. development of press materials, following up on media inquiries, monitoring media hotline

·    Supporting community and public affairs initiatives

Skills and Competencies:

·    BA/BS; Marketing/Communications/Business

·    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or public relations

·    Strong project management skills and knowledge of social media tools/applications

·    Experience with web development/management platforms

·    Hands on experience managing content management systems

·    Excellent communication skills for interactions with the public, media, colleagues, and all levels of management

·    Ability to meet deadlines, work independently, and in a team environment

·    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

·    Ability to work Nights and Weekends as required
