Glo is on a mission to improve the world’s well-being. To accomplish that mission, we are looking for a Director of Product Marketing & Lifecycle Marketing who will play a pivotal role in shaping the overall marketing strategy by leading the product marketing and lifecycle marketing functions. This role will be responsible for developing and leading the go-to-market (GTM) strategies, customer retention initiatives, and the full customer journey. It is an exciting opportunity to build and manage a team, but will also require hands-on efforts especially for Product Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing

  • Own the product marketing function, including market research, positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis. Develop and execute go-to-market (GTM) strategies for new features, product updates, and revenue streams.
  • Own the launch process for new features and product updates. Partner with the content and social teams to develop educational and promotional content to support launches.
  • Collaborate with Product, Content, and Marketing teams to align on product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and launch timelines.

Lifecycle Marketing

  • Lead the lifecycle marketing strategy, focusing on optimizing the entire user journey—from onboarding to retention and re-engagement. Develop initiatives aimed at increasing customer lifetime value (LTV) and reducing churn.
  • Execute lifecycle initiatives from design to implementation of multi-channel campaigns (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging) that nurture users at different stages of the lifecycle. Experience with Braze is highly preferred.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the main liaison between the Product, Content, Growth, and Analytics teams. Ensure that new features and updates are effectively communicated and integrated into lifecycle marketing campaigns.

Performance Analysis & Optimization

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product marketing and lifecycle initiatives. Use data and insights to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and inform future strategies.
  • Conduct A/B testing and experimentation to optimize messaging, onboarding flows, and lifecycle campaigns, ensuring continuous improvement based on user behavior and feedback.

Customer Insights & Market Research

  • Partner with Research to conduct market research and extract customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. Analyze user feedback, conduct surveys, and leverage analytics to understand user needs and pain points.
  • Use insights to refine positioning, messaging, and lifecycle campaigns that resonate with target audiences.

Innovative Campaign Development

  • Champion creative, data-driven marketing initiatives that drive user engagement and retention. Develop compelling campaigns that showcase the value of new features and keep users engaged with the platform.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing and lifecycle marketing with at least 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role within a digital subscription or wellness-focused company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products and driving user engagement through integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Braze, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with the ability to pivot quickly based on market demands and user feedback.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make informed marketing decisions.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing talent.
