As a rapidly growing eHealth technology and services company, Lightbeam is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to scale marketing efforts for next level growth. The ideal candidate will be strategic with strong operational capabilities, results and outcome-oriented, creative, driven, and highly collaborative to be able to design, implement, and monitor effective marketing strategies that articulate a compelling story and align with goals to ensure that marketing department activities directly contribute to the company’s long-term success and oversee the company’s content creation, digital footprint, community relations, demand generation activities, marketing campaigns, and special events.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement timely new marketing strategies and lead the marketing team by example
- Provide strategic leadership through the management of the disciplines of marketing by driving the planning, development, implementation, execution, and monitoring of the overall marketing strategy beginning with a comprehensive marketing philosophy, business strategy, and direction. The position oversees branding, digital and traditional marketing, event planning, public relations, and community outreach programs along with market research, product marketing, marketing communications, advertising and public relations
- Lead and execute a strategic marketing and communications plan
- Lead and mentor the marketing and communications team to create compelling, consistent and cohesive messaging that speaks to specific target audiences
- Lead, develop, execute, and manage the overall marketing roadmap, vision, plan, and strategies to drive results – measured through increased brand awareness, customer acquisition, growth, and monetization
- Clearly differentiate Lightbeam and execute a sophisticated marketing plan to surpass the competition while effectively managing brand and reputational risk to ensure the internal and external brand is optimally aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives
- Develop compelling value propositions that drive distinct competitive advantages for selling new and existing products as well as expanding utilization within the existing client base.
- Lead and empower a high-performing, collaborative team of marketers across brand, performance, communications,PR, content, product marketing, and lead generation. Drive vision and oversee efforts across these functions.
- Create and present the annual marketing plan and strategy to upper management. Collabortating with the Executive team to establish vision and strategy, and ensure that all marketing long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies are in alignment.
- Develop and execute marketing plans, defining what support is needed to hit objectives
- Lead the overall planning, development and alignment of company brand across our suite of products to increase awareness for our customers, partners, prospects, and the press
- Own messaging in partnership with Product and Sales to stay ahead of market and industry trends, closely monitoring competition success and failures to adjust current strategies, create a constant feedback loop with our customer’s needs and motivations through surveys, impact stories, case studies, and establish differentiated market positioning
- Partner with Sales to develop and maintain robust pipeline for company to meet growth objectives
- Maintain exisiting and put in place as necessary automation, telemetry, and reporting to measure KPIs for the marketing teams.
- Deploy and optimize a cutting-edge marketing automation stack to ensure scalable and cost-effective marketing operations processes with demonstrable ROI through preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately
- Create and maintain an active network of marketing partnerships to enable marketing execution. Partnerships might include medical societies such as AMGA and HIMSS and rating organizations such as Gartner and KLAS
- Creatively manage all marketing positioning.
- Ensure each brand in the portfolio has an ownable positioning strategy and is communicated in a compelling and consistent manner across all channels and touchpoints
- Drive organizational strategy and design for publishing inbound and outbound marketing
- Determine necessary and key positions followed by recruiting, mentoring, managing, and fostering the continuous career development of best in class, cross-disciplined talent
- Ensure the delivery of market research, business intelligence, consumer insights, and reporting required to guide executive-level decision-making
- Lead the Marketing, Public Relations, and Event Planning Departments in the development and execution of marketing initiatives, communications, events, and campaigns that elevate the Company brand
- Create internal synergies within Company to expand employee brand awareness as well as leveraging relationships with internal and external business partners
- Conduct thorough analysis on marketing ROI and successfully develop cost effective solutions
- Develop and implement the organization's multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaign based on timely industry insight
- Expand, develop, and maintain media relationships to create a positive external and internal image associated with brand recognition
- Establish a powerful marketing funnel and ensuring leads are qualified when entering the sales pipeline
- Create and implement innovative multi-channel customer growth strategies & campaigns via collaboration with Product, Sales and Operational teams
- Provide input to the product team regarding initiatives that can support key marketing objectives
- Lead the development of integrated marketing plans by brand, including strategies and tactics that increase brand awareness, relevancy, and generate demand. This also includes calendarization to connect key messages across all touchpoints with synchronized timing
- Lead a customer first mindset, developing a data informed position on who current and target customers are, and implementing strategies and tactics that help us acquire and retain valuable customers
- Lead retention strategies including the improvement of brand loyalty and reinforcing data driven value propositions. Ie, Case Studies that highlights successes
Job Requirements and Qualifications
- 3+ years' management experience in marketing health services and/or eHealth solutions.
- Being customer centric and deep understanding of the market.
- Proven leadership expertise with strong, effective team building skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution management, setting teams goals, holding people accountable, and making difficult decisions
- 5 years' successful management experience in marketing or communications, overseeing brand strategy and creative deliverables with positions of increasing responsibility and accountability in a goal-oriented setting
- Hands-on experience with CRM and SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Adwords, HubSpot, WebTrends, SalesForce, etc., digital marketing tools, and related software
- Highly observant and analytical with in-depth knowledge of big data analysis
- Ability to regularly produce and present reports
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication, marketing, presentation, research, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in planning, managing, and executing multi-channel, multi-segment marketing campaigns
- Advanced subject matter knowledge of traditional and digital marketing
- Experience in delivering marketing messages though video, mobile platforms and social media
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and create best-in-class content
- Willingness to travel to conferences and education programs as well as work long hours
- Ability to forecast hiring needs for the Marketing department.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Master’s degree a plus
